Dr. Thomas Benjamin DDS, PLLC
The newest owner of Jackson Boulevard Dental Associates
Dr. Benjamin is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has lived in the Black Hills area of South Dakota for the last 11 years with his wife Kim and children Elsa and Cortland. He also has an older son, Mitchell, and a grandson (MJ) in Spokane, Washington.
Graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis in 1997, and following his passion to help his community
In his 24 years of dental practice, he has continued advancing his education in implantology, prosthetics, cosmetics, oral surgery, and endodontics. Transforming smiles and improving lives with his seamless integrations of innovative technology, and compassionate personalized dental care.
He has practiced in public, community, and tribal dental practices, as well as his own private practices over his career. Showing dedicated family dental care for over 20 years in multiple communities.
Dr. Benjamin enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking, shooting, ATV and motorcycle riding, traveling, and building hot rods as well as off-road vehicles. He and his wife also spend time attending their children’s sporting events and music performances.
Dr. Ryan Baxter DMD, FAGD

A proud Rapid City native, Dr. Ryan Baxter is passionate about providing exceptional dental care to our community. Growing up as a State Champion wrestler for Rapid City Stevens, Ryan’s determination and commitment to excellence have been evident from an early age.
Dr. Baxter graduated Magna Cum Laude from South Dakota State University, laying a strong foundation for his future in healthcare. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) with honors from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois. Recognized for his dedication and skill, Dr. Baxter is one of the youngest dentists in South Dakota to achieve the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), a testament to his commitment to ongoing education and delivering the highest standard of care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Baxter is an avid outdoor enthusiast. During the summer months, he enjoys rock climbing, rock hounding, hiking, camping, and playing pickleball. In the winter, he finds joy in ice fishing and volunteering as a wrestling coach, inspiring young athletes in our community.
Dr. Baxter’s dedication extends beyond our local community. He has participated in dental mission trips to third-world countries, including the Dominican Republic, Zambia, and El Salvador. There, he has performed thousands of dental surgeries, providing vital care to individuals in remote and underserved areas. His global experiences have deepened his compassion and commitment to making a difference through dentistry.
